This is one of the rarest colors of jadeite in the world. This material comes from Turkey. The colors are very nice but the translucency is not high. With the nice colors of this material, the lack of high translucency is less a factor in my opinion. I have purchased a bulk amount of this directly from Turkey for special projects. This material is up to 51% jadeite.
I am a custom knifemaker and use stone for handles. I am interested in purchasing blocks 5″x 1 1/2x 1 1/2.
