This is a beautiful “Duplex Bead” made from Lavender Jadeite from Turkey and layered abalone from New Zealand. The abalone is called “Paua abalone”. This style is one of my signature creations. This can also be worn on a chain but here it is being offered on a cord. It comes with matching slide beads from the same material that are used to adjust the length of the waxed black polyester cord, both of which are not shown in these pictures. The slide beads are my invention for adjusting the length and to show a more finished look compared to the commonly used slide knots. Pull the beads apart to shorten the length or pull the cord between the beads and pendant bead to lengthen the cord. It is harder to explain than to use.
