My Story
I was born with a natural curiosity and an inability to have idle hands. I have had a long lasting relationship with water starting with the pool when I was young., I eventually had the opportunity to pursue the sport of swimming competitively through high school and college.
I have always appreciated nature and its bounties, so fishing has always been a part of my lifestyle. While in college, I ventured into a new water sport—freedive spearfishing. This led to an interest in diving for jade and ultimately creating unique jewelry and pieces out of them. I currently teach my son and niece aspects of jade and create a positive difference in their perspective of art, the business and general opportunities in the future.
In our shop we try to develop higher levels of personal skill that result in extraordinary quality, character, authenticity, and individual styles in their work. We are always learning., While some tasks are a constant challenge, it’s never a dull moment. Our involvement in the continuously growing jade culture and getting to know people in that community is part of what life is all about. With this continuating education, relationships are developed and will positively impact generations to come.
